"This labor of love is an absolute must-listen. Mark and Eitan Perlin, a father-son duo, have created a debut folk EP filled to the brim with sincerity. One of the tracks, Child, was written by Mark for Eitan more than a decade ago about his fatherly love. Another standout is Bethlehem, a haunting ballad of lost love and yearning. Eitan’s clean vocals over his father’s intricate instrumental arrangements make for a uniquely beautiful experience.
The project was inspired at a holiday dinner, when one of his best friends told him, “Mark, I love your lyrics and your music, but I can’t stand your voice!” Since Eitan has been singing with choruses in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera House and more for many years, it was a no-brainer for him to provide a “voice” for his father. On the cover art, you can see the duo singing at a local community event all the way back in 2012 when Eitan was barely a teenager."

Meet Michael, a man whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers his partner's infidelity while crossing the bustling city streets. Distracted and devastated, he's struck by a car and falls into a deep coma. As Michael's consciousness drifts into a surreal realm, he finds himself in the company of five brilliant philosophers, each embodying a different stage of grief.

Berkeley, the whimsical idealist, playfully insists that nothing in life was ever truly real, challenging Michael to question the very nature of his existence.
Nietzsche, the fiery and determined philosopher, urges Michael to seize his destiny and strive for his goals, igniting a fiery passion within him.

Kierkegaard, the contemplative soul, offers solace through the promise of divine connection, inspiring Michael to seek spirituality in his darkest moments.
Kant, the introspective thinker, helps Michael confront the idea that he was never truly in control of his life or the impact he made on others.

Finally, Wittgenstein, the gentle guide, shows Michael the power of ascribing his own meaning to life's uncertainties, offering a glimmer of hope in the midst of despair.
Throughout their journey, these philosophers engage in witty banter and illuminate their philosophies through heartwarming and catchy songs, drawing you into their world of wisdom and whimsy.
As the musical unfolds, Michael grapples with profound questions about existence, love, and purpose. Will he awaken from his coma to face a changed world, or will he find the answers he seeks within the confines of his infinite reverie? The only certainty is that Michael's journey will leave you spellbound, inspired, and ready to embrace life's uncertainties with open arms.
